Barbara Oden, a published author and founder of Nevertheless Ministries (www.ntlm.org), has taught Bible studies in her church for over 20 years. God called her to write while on a trip to Israel, and she continues to seek Him on this amazing adventure. Barbara lives in Angleton, Texas and is the proud mom of Kevin who is a sophomore at University of North Texas (go Mean Green!)
Nevertheless Ministries was born out of the desire to share God’s mercy and grace with women. Barbara has made it through many of life’s obstacles because God has been her stronghold. Her only brother was killed in a tragic car accident and then a few years later she became a single mom when her son was only three years old. These experiences have made her stronger because she learned to trust God with every area of her life.

Sharon McNair was born and raised in Rosharon, Texas just south of Houston. She attended the University of Houston at Clear Lake where she majored in psychology and later earned her master’s degree in educational management while serving as principal for an ICAA accredited K-12 private Christian school. For the past 15 years, she has handled a variety of writing and editing projects ranging from writing curriculum guides, promotional materials and press releases
to editing all types of work related publications. She served as editor for a monthly parent newsletter and has designed numerous ministry related brochures. She now works with children and families as a social worker and enjoys copy-editing the works of published author and speaker Barbara Oden, including her contributions in Give Thanks, Praise Reports
and Wounded by Words.
